archangle, Thanks for the suggestions for of names. I've decided to go with Pat. Pat seems to be accepting it's name with no issue. Now if I could only get Pat to eat it's fresh fruits and veggies. lol

Well, I guess that means I didn't win the prize!

I like the name Pat tho, so it's all good.

Thanks for understanding ems.
I think that Pat is a universal name that can go either way.

Including my brothers and my one son there are a total of 4 parrots in the family. They are great -- except when they get to chattering/talking then they are a pain. Especially when there is company and they want to be the center of attention!

Nice looking bird, enjoy it.

One thing that I can say about Pat, is that Pat doesn't speak much or loud. A very well behaved bird for it's age (3 months old)

Thanks Sleepycarol

You must talk (repetitiously til you're cross-eyed) to young birds to help them learn to talk... it makes a big difference. Do it a few times a day for as long as you can stand it and keep it up for months or forever!

I've noticed that when I say something alot, Pat kind of tilts his head in a questioning look.
Still can't get him to eat his veggies though. lol
