I had none of these. The recovery period is a couple weeks, but I actually had very little pain. I did have a complication (difficulty swallowing post-surgery) which kept me in the hospital for a few days on IV, so that extra TLC might be why my recovery was less painful than most.newcpap wrote: My question to the folks who went for the surgery (either UPPP or anything beyond the septoplasty). -Having to re-learn how to drink/eat
-Long recovery period with a lot of pain
-Difficulty using nasal cpap due to air leak from your mouth
