Isn't it nice of Microsoft to provide you automated tools to screw things up without having to go to the trouble of doing it manually?

Sorry guys, I made a booboo with the Windows build, it appears Microsoft's VC2013 compiler does not work with all versions of windows.
It just crashed on start because of a missing MSVC Runtime, that is only available for Windows 7 Service pack 1.

Use this MinGW for now.. A faster OpenGL build will be later.

I fixed a couple of PRS1 importer bugs since then.

cpaptalk or sourceforge?

We should probably start a separate thread to discuss this instead of debating it here.
Thanks for bringing his latest shenanigans to my attention Archangle.

To address his complaint, I use sourceforge because it's free, and it _was_ always a good reliable service for opensource developers to share their code.. I'd use GIT hub, but they do not provide free file hosting, and I don't have the time, energy or dollars to both maintain my own website, and develop SleepyHead.

I find the fake green downoad button ads disgusting, and I wish I had a better alternative. I will keep filing complaints with sourceforge about it, and ask anyone genuinely concerned to do the same.
The reason I give direct links is because they bypass those stupid ads.

Well, I normally hate to feed the troll, but I don't "head the Wiki" over there. Just a long term member in good standing who's written 1 or 2 wiki articles.

Jedimark has never been booted from apneaboard.

So, I'm old and confused easily, is this thread for "Mac" or for Windows users? I am running Mac V 10.8.5 and don't want to have a crash or missing graphs or any problems if I can help it. Is the Mac update ready for simpletons to install or should I wait a bit longer????

This is still a testing build. In general, I don't recommend using such software unless you are able and willing to deal with bugs when they come up and report them to the developer. If your current version is working for you and you don't feel comfortable beta-testing, I'd stick with what you've got a bit longer.

A separate Windows thread would probably be a good idea.

If your Mac version is working well, the main reason to load the new version would be to help out with testing.

I don't use the Mac version, but on the PC, you can install both the old version and the testing version and test without affecting the old version, but you should probably create a new profile when you start.

Mark,

Your MinGW build starts without issue on my Win 7 Box. Thanks for your quick response.

I notice that I now have two listings under Changes to Prescription Settings on the statistics Tab. One is green and the second is pinkish. I have not had any changes to prescription settings on this machine. Older versions of Sleepyhead only have one entry.

Perhaps Pressure relief settings changed?

The RX Changes list tracks changes to EPR, A-Flex, etc.. because some machines give clinicians the ability to lock those settings down.

There have been several bug fixes in this section of code recently, so might not have been displaying correctly before.

grybeard77 - I'm in the same boat with you. I'm a Mac user, and a simpleton to boot Plus I'm a firm believer in the adage, if it aint' broke, don't fix it. I'm running OS X V 10.9.3. Old version of SleepyHead works just fine for me. Nate, whose on this forum, on the other hand, is a whiz bang when it comes to working with and going for the updated version of SH. He's helped me immensely as I wanted to run a Windows program on my Mac to further see how I'm sleeping at night. I couldn't have done what I did were it not for his help and support.
