I can understand that you all like CPAP.com. Fine….What I do not understand is why all you guys can slander doctors, DMEs, techs, etc… but are so defensive of CPAP.com. OK so you all had good experiences and are completely in love with CPAP.com. Hell I did not know they were supermen and superwomen! I most certainly will start shopping there. I’m in Canada and there is nothing up here that can beat their prices, and from you testimony nothing in this world can beat their service.
If you are wise shopper then you should shop cpap.com. These days every penny
counts, and at this stage in my life I don't need any added frustration.

But all of you should remember that for those of us who don’t know CPAP.com; you guys look like you were paid to defend them. So what….if someone is venting and is wrong about the problem! Can’t they do that on a forum! Come on guys….if the venting had been against a doctor….no one would have called this person a troll.
I don't see any other DME provider giving its customer anything like cpap.com does. They gave us this webiste.
I can't speak for you but for myself it saved my life. I view the help I have gotten here priceless. Maybe I am just loyal,
but if some one gives you something for free. I do like free then yes I will defend them. I was worried that you haven't figured that out.

You are quite right; I had not figured that out. With credentials like this; you are certainly right to take the stance you have…..My hat’s off to you. My apologies to ALL. I never realized the importance of this. All the best to you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My estimate of the situation, given the OP's description of his problem, is the OP did not understand how an APAP works and there was nothing wrong with the machine.
He came to the forum to give advice (trashing the forum host), but he would have done himself a favor to instead ask for advice.

WOW! I find it interesting how for some reason by posting my experience I was hammered by so many? 4 MONTHS OF very good and helpful use happened before it started having problems. I FOLLOWED ALL THE ADVICE FROM THE CPAP.COM REPS.... OVER AND OVER. I, replaced masks, adjustments etc., but I have dealt with many companies, and for the most part if they provide a defective piece of equipment, it's repaired, replaced, at their cost, even a car dealer will give you a replacement while repairs are made. With those so quick to bash me, you cant help but wonder if it's cpap.com's own little crew of damage control "bots" .... with this lack of standing behind one's product, I cant seem to wonder......

Second post ever, RJ; be honest---who are you working for?
More to the point, if you can find a local DME who even comes CLOSE,
why did you decide to haunt us?

Wow….
Please forgive me as I “newbie” I didn’t expect to have such a “panic” driven cultish response to my experience I felt should be shared.
First, the machine worked great for 4 months….and yes…I LOVED IT…. While it worked. It no longer performs as it did or is suppose to.
Second, I followed all the advice from the CPAP.com’s Reps. replaced mask, filters, checked equipment....etc.
Third, I don’t believe the policy of repairing an obvious defective expensive machine should come at the customers expense, and without a fair replacement or rental.
To be told it’s best to purchase another machine after spending $1000.00 doing all they instructed, I feel it’s just not standing behind a product.

I think your responses here in this forum would've been quite a bit different had you not conflated the BBB rating with your CPAP.com customer service.

Robert Joseph,
I sent the following email to the email you have registered for your CPAPtalk account:
Greetings,
We saw your post on CPAPtalk. We tried to look into your order, however this email address is not in our system. Also your name is not connected to an order in our system for a machine.
As Johnny replied on the thread, if you provide your information, we would be happy to look into your order.

"Robert Joseph:
I looked for an order relating to your name or registered email and could not find any orders. I would like to look review your order to see is a mistake was made. You can private message me, or my wife, carolyngoodman directly so we can locate your order."
I welcome your response.
Regards,
Carolyn Goodman

Maybe robertjoseph has one online provider confused with another having a similar name.
Google will show at least one close enough to be confusing.

Well Chunkyfrog, since he did not reply to the email cpap.com sent him and since they cannot find an order associated with that email, maybe he is just a Troll registering under a fake email address.

Quite possibly in the employ of a company that enjoys the best BBB ratings money can buy-
-but not the financial success won by sweat and honesty.

It would make more sense if he were a BBB shakedown goon.

Indeed. But I still think it's possible the guy just had a bad experience born of misunderstanding and lashed out here. I'm not sure how rational I'd be if my S9 were not working and (for whatever reason) I wasn't getting the help I needed. I try to give people the benefit of the doubt in such situations, especially when not doing so gains me little.
