SecondWindCPAP has the DS400S listed for retail at $199.

I regularly see latest model machines on Craigslist for $200 to $300.
My RT called me today to tell me she spoke to someone at Philips Respironics and they told her not to bother shipping my machine to them to check out my machine's heated humidifier because my machine was too old; they would check my machine's pressure to see if their reading is 18cm or less and if it is less they would let my RT know what the problem was and if it's repairable what it will cost. The company that approves DME items for my insurance company told me today they would need documentation stating that my machine has a problem which couldn't be repaired or the cost to repair it was greater than the value of my machine before they would consider approving me a new machine. Talk like that makes me want to go see my doctor; ask him to write me a script for a new machine; whip out my MasterCard and buy a new machine from CPAP.com.

Yup...... my thoughts exactly. You will pay more for a machine through your DME than you will through cpap.com (unless you have insurance). The PR 60 series with the heated house was my first choice when my old M series croaked. Been using it for 3 months now and definitely do not regret my decision.
