Two possibilities to consider. One, sometimes what the system doesn't like is change. For some people additional CAs emerge whenever they change something, but they fade again once their system acclimates to the new "normal". The other is that CAs are quite common when we aren't fully asleep. Clusters of CAs often correspond to a period of wakefulness as we were falling asleep, as we were waking up, or when we awoke briefly during the night. I've gotten to where I make a conscious effort to breathe as I roll over at night because I realized I was logging CAs every time when I didn't.

Interesting. I had stomach issues last night (not that uncommon). Maybe the discomfort effected my dream state which caused the CAs?

They tend to happen a lot when we are restless. As we toss and turn, we tend to hold our breath, and that would be reported as a CA.

I get CAs at pressures above 10.5, which were also noted on my titration PSG. You can look through your report to see if they also noticed any at certain pressures.

But as others have said, they are usually due to therapy changes or sleep onset.
