It was either get a therapist or get a Harley.....the Harley sounded more fun.

The avatar is the picture......you have to upload one.
The profile is the information about you.......that should be easy to figure out if you go into yours.

Yes I understand that. It will not let me upload a picture at all. It continues to tell me that the picture is zero pixels by zero pixels no matter what I do. I have uploaded many avatars on different web sites.  This is the first one I've had a problem with.

All web sites don't use the same software, on this pictures must be hosted on another site like photobucket, then linked to this site. JIM

Also file size is limited, as is avatar size. Looks like file can also be hosted on your computer too.

You might be able to generalize a copy of the image you want to a low enough resolution.

Not sure what is going wrong because I don't know the steps you are using or the picture size.

The avatar can't be more than whatever the size requirements are...
The image has to be uploaded to some place like Photobucket for the forum software to pull it in for the avatar slot..the forum software can't pull the image from your computer.

I'm able to change mine without any problem. Just did it, so it's not the website.

I have a folder in "My Pictures" on my computer for Avatars. I have resized all these photos to be used as Avatars (the 150x150 I believe).

Use Paint.com for MS or a Mac paint program and load in the picture you want... IOW any drawing program. When finished cropping, adding text or whatever, use the resize function to get it to look about the same size as what you see on this site In your browser. TIP: use: view > zoom > reset or equivalent to get the size approximately right. Next upload it to Photobucket or whatever image hosting site you like. Copy the image link to this forum's avatar entry space and it will tell you the size requirements in pixels that you need to meet. See the image below. If you're in the ballpark it will accept the image. Note the pixel sizes highlighted.

I like my ResMed AirFit F10 FFM - reasonably low leaks for my ASV therapy. I'm currently using a PR S1 AutoSV 960P Advanced. I also keep a ResMed S9 Adapt as backup. I use a heated Hibernite hose. Still rockin' with Win 7 by using GWX to stop Win 10.

I just uploaded my picture, and it took resizing it to allow it to fit in the space provided.

Mine came straight from photobucket, the same place I get my avatar from every time I use it on all the other websites. Only this one is giving me a hard time. I have tried resizing it- it does nothing. All I can think of is maybe I have to go to an actual PC for this particular website to accept my avatar. Other web sites will let me upload my avatar from my phone or my tablet. I have yet to try from the PC. I'll try that when I get home tonight.

Okay- that was indeed the problem. Tried it from a PC successfully on the first attempt. Thanks for all the responses and suggestions.
