Thank You, I see now. Can this be used for higher pressures ?
How does anyone know how many parts are in this mask? It is not even on the market at this time, correct? Did this comapny merge with the Innomed company? Who are they ? Where do they sell products? The website looks like products for the hospital. This may be a hospital product, right?

2 sales guys came to my lab in PA yesterday evening and they did a demo of this product. This is really cool! It is really quiet even above 14 cm. Now I don't have to worry about my patients opening their mouth during titration. I asked them to leave behind 2 units so I can use it on patients this week but they didn't have any to leave behind, they will send some to the lab in a couple of weeks.

I called cpap.com to ask about it and they have not heard of this mask.
I wonder if it will work for the bearded set?

I last shaved shortly after Boot camp in the Navy - I do trim it off a bit from time to time but I don't think I am shaving for a mask since I last shaved, umm - more than 30 years ago. Is there any FF that is beard friendly?

Because it's not out yet. This board knows everything and just got wind. Heck, the people advertising it never even heard of it.
The Innomed people have heard of it, but don't want to give any information.
10 days they say? APSS is my guess. I think their surprise is blown.(excuse the pun)

Hudson RCI, Research Triangle Park, NC, a division of Teleflex Medical, has introduced the Hybrid patient interface, a fusion of technologies designed to be a universal interface for both patients and providers. This product serves as a nasal interface, an oral interface, and a combination of the two. The design of the Hybrid promotes patient comfort by eliminating pressure points on the forehead and across the bridge of the nose. A built-in chin flap gently supports the chin, ensuring optimal performance. Each individual package contains all of the components required to properly size the patient, which eliminates the inconvenience of opening multiple masks to get the right fit.
I went to hudsonrci.com and they removed the mask from their website. No sign of it anywhere. It has completely disappeared.

Somebody must have jumped the gun in that long line of command and gotten ahead of schedule on a website update or just got the communication wrong.
That will happen when a company owns a company that is owned by a company that is outsourcing to a company who subcontracts to another company, that is a sister company in partnership with an offshore company, as a subdivision of .........anyway.... These days its easy for mixups to happen.
So, as usual, THIS well informed group on THIS forum scoops the world. WE know its coming.....just have to wait for the FDA "details" to get ironed out and lined up.

I went to
http://www.hudsonrci.com and clicked the Hybrid from there. A big PDF came up with an advertising slick or something.
What does the RCI stand for in Hudson RCI ?
