I started out with the Amara but it was too painful on the bridge of my nose. I swapped it for the Quattro Air. As I'm finding out, it's impossible to say what works for one person will work for another so the Amara may work well for you.

It's the Quattro that's mangling the bridge of my nose. I'm gonna try padding it tonight to see if that helps.

Thanks.

When pressure is the issue, padding the pressure may result in simply increasing the pressure. You need to reduce the pressure too. Try dialing the nose area out a little more, so that the air cushion can fill around the nose and hug it with less pressure. Compensate as needed by tightening the lower straps a little at a time, just enough so there is no leak.

I know it sound counterintuitive, but the more you tighten to prevent leaks, the less effective the air cushion is at sealing. Relieve as much pressure as you can on the bridge of your nose, before padding it.

Yeah, I've been told that many times. But with the pressures I'm dealing with here (22-25), it doesn't seem to work very well.

I just got my Amara mask today and a quick test seems promising. We'll see what the night brings.

Thanks!
