I have United Health Care....that's why Im always in the dark. My DME could be charging things daily for all I know, and with the premiums going up 200.00 a month, I could care less.

~UPDATE~

I decided to fight the bill.

Not for the $14, but for the principle.
It wasn't my fault they didn't get paid, it was theirs. I shouldn't have to pay for their mistakes.

I called Apria, spoke with a rather nasty gentleman in their billing dept. He put me on hold several times to go "talk" to his manager about the situation.
The end result....they removed the bill from my account, and are re-submitting it to my insurance.

Do I think this is the end of it??? Not by a far shot!!!!

This is only the first battle in the "war" and I'm sure I'll get another bill next month. I won this battle, but may not win the war. I don't care, so long as I fight the good fight and hopfully it'll help someone else down the road.
