Good point and suggestion. Even when I travel by car I leave the humidifier at home. It's just easier to lug a smaller unit even if we travel by car.
My mom doesn't use hers at all, while I have mine set at 5 out of 6. If I turn it down, I wake up with the sahara desert in my mouth. I am a mouth breather, all the way, so I need it. I go as high as I can go without getting sweaty.

Proving once again that one size does NOT fit all! That's not as much of a problem for me. But clearly it is for others. SeattleBoy, it would be nice if we could tell you one thing that absolutely, positively works. But as you can see, you will have to learn what works for you.

John, very true! I am picking up a nasal mask next week as the Opus 360 Pillows are starting to drive me crazy. I can't stand how if I slightly move they come out of place, but then if I tighten up the straps my nose gets really sore. I think this alone is negatively effecting my sleep so I look forward to trying something else.

I appreciate all the great advice though. thanks guys
