It sounds as though most of you have gone through the same thing that I did--I fell asleep reading or watching TV without the mask a couple of times, so I began putting it on as soon as I climb into bed. If it takes me an hour to fall asleep and I see some events, I usually note that in SleepyHead. But I am more concerned about sleeping without it and screwing up my compliance.

I think I might try audio books again, as Jamiswolf mentioned. They usually put me right to sleep and I'm constantly starting the book over the next night. LOL! Listening to Jim Brickman's music often relaxes me and puts me to sleep quickly too.

Well, this is the one thing the insomnia does simplify for me.

Because of the insomnia problems, I don't get into bed until I'm ready to go to sleep. (These days that means after I've taken the Ambien *sigh*) Hence when to mask up is a pretty easy decision.

It's been years since I've read in bed on a regular basis. And I kicked the TV out of the bedroom at least a decade or more agao.

TV is still in the bedroom, but it hasn't been on for a long time.
Gotta haul the old CRT out by the curb.
