I have tried a massage table and it didn't work for me...

I was just about to order an actual massage table, when I saw Plan B, (another) stop gap measure before that step:
Adjustable, fits between your box spring and mattress. Would at least be more portable than a table. (It folds down into a carrying case.) I'll report back again.
