We like Charmin Ultra Strong - the Mega rolls. Costco brand is awful - it doesn't tear off the roll right and it starts coming apart while you are using it. But it is CHEAP.

You guys made me laugh so much I nearly peed my pants.
Now I am wishing I can do origami with toilet paper now...heck..I wish I could do origami period.
At least we didn't get into a pissing contest here...I was waiting but it never happened. Just some good old fashioned fun and I needed it yesterday. Things have been a bit hectic lately for me.
We use Charmin in this household..either the ALoe sensitive kind or the ultra strong....whichever I can get the best deal on.
There are just some things in life that I don't go with store brand products and TP is one of them.

Oh but pugsy no one has mention HOW to put the roll in - paper from the top or the bottom of the roll! That is always good for a fight!

I totally forgot the "how to put the roll on thing"... I am still trying to figure out how to make a rose with it.
FWIW...I probably alternate whether the paper is coming from the bottom or the top..front or back...that way I figure I have a 50% chance of getting it "right"..whichever way "right" is.

My children were taught the proper way to put on a roll of TP with it coming forward over the top. My daughter married a man that prefers backwards TP. Everytime I went to their home I fixed it the proper direction but the next time I went to the BR it was changed. I had a very hard time keeping it properly arranged so I just gave up. I just don't know how I failed. I tried to set a good example so my children would know the proper way of doing things. I feel like a failure as a mother now. Where did I go wrong?
This should stir things up a little.

As the mother of boys, I am so grateful the the roll is installed in any direction!

It depends on your pressure. 15cm and below it should come off the role in the back, but higher than 15 should come off the role in the front.
ASV users require two dispensers!
On a totally separate topic, did you know that alot == Madalot?
I've got to stop drinking during the day.

If you have a cat, it has to roll backwards, makes it harder for the cat to unroll. Otherwise, it's entirely your preference.

That was my daughters excuse for going down the wrong path.

I have three cats. Only one of them ever decided to play with that, and even then only did it once. No training required, no yelling, nothing. The cat didn't find it all that exciting, I guess.
I'm sure other cats aren't so accommodating, but I would choose to close the door from the cat rather than change how it works. When paper comes off towards the wall I find it harder to find the start and more likely to free-spin when I give it a yank to break off some.
As for fragrance, I don't get it. I don't have a nose in proximity to the area to which TP is applied (and I thank all deity's and Mother Nature for that!). Otherwise I agree with (I believe it was) Mollete ... the TP arrives unscented and leaves scented!

And that goes right along with the fight over why do women always expect and demand that men leave the seat down!! It's easier for her to put it down than it is for him to lift it up, isn't it?

I have heard many guests say that.
Mrs. Vader insisted that when we got the new house that we would have one installed.
Happy wife = Happy life.

We have a small apartment, so the litter box is in the bathroom. No choice but to give him access.
But really this is assuming it gets on the roll at all. You know, when company comes over. Normally it just sits on the sink counter. LOL!
