I think so. I don't care if it makes a bump in the back as I am strictly a side sleeper. Last night I pushed the back strap all the way down to the back of my neck. I then shoved the top strap toward the back of my head which held the straps away from my eyes.
I can look around for something to take up just a bit of slack as I really like the nasal pillows and don't want to give up on the mask!
Thanks for your help
Carrie

I finally got that little gray piece of velcro off the pink Swift FX back strap. Takes a little extra tugging to get it off.
It sort of holds onto the Nuance back strap on the outside material. Won't grab at all on the inner side..to slick.
It was pretty tired to start with (old pink backstrap) from a lot of use but it might hold or something like that...cut out a little section and use something like it to hold the two ends together. I didn't cut the Nuance back strap to try it under best circumstances though. Not ready to do that just yet.
It's doable though with some sort of velcro. Just cut out a small section and use the velcro to tied them back together.

Keeping in mind that once again I don't have a clue what I am talking about because I have never seen this mask couldn't you cut out a piece and sandwich the cut ends between two strips or grosgrain ribbon 'and sew together with the ribbon strips covering the cut edges of the headgear?

As a long time Swift FX user I had the opportunity to try out the Nuance and Nuance Pro.
The main complaint I have with the Swift FX is that the short hoses don't last long. We will see how the Nuance hose holds up.
After a few days of trying and switching between the Nuance and the Pro head gear, I think I like the regular gear over the Pro gear.
I really like this mask and have, for now, retired my Swift FX.
Now if the hose can hold up to my nightly abuse, it will be great.

Really loving the Nuance Pro. I used the Swift FX for quite a while and have constant small leaks that wake me up. Not with the Nuance Pro. The pillows are great.
For me, routing the hose over my head through the provided loop in the headgear makes all the difference with the Nuance and allows the pillows to remain very stable whether I am sleeping on my side or back.
