Democrats took over healthcare in 2009. Where have you been? The Lyin' King promised $2500 decrease. I wasn't able to keep my doctor. All lies. How do you know my position? Do you work for the IRS, NSA? I still haven't been able to access what my options are on the exchanges from the "out of the box success" so I don't know what those Obamadon't care rates are. I was hoping to make an informed decision about where to get insurance, but Obama incompetence is preventing that. I am an American, Obama's laws aren't supposed to help ME? Are they only for illegals and leeches? I could tell in 2008 that only lies came out of Obama's mouth, so none of this surprises me. I'm still not sure what's going to happen once they run out of other peoples' money........but, maybe they'll just keep printing it and hope for the best.

I have worked in the government on and off for 40 years. During that time I became quite familiar with requisitions, bidding, awarding contracts etc. It is a time consuming process with bean-counters and pencil-necked bureaucrats every step of the way. The simplest request takes months not days or hours.
In less than 8 hours of the shutdown, miraculously, professionally printed 3X4 foot signs appeared all over the country in the tens of thousands saying-“this [park, facility, etc. with custom logos] closed due to government shutdown.
There has not been a government shutdown in 17 years. These signs were designed, specifications were determined, signs were then requisitioned, bids were posted and vetted, government contracts were awarded. The materials were then ordered and the signs manufactured then distributed U.S. Mails or freight companies. This shutdown was orchestrated and planned well in advance at least 6-8 months ago. Millions of tax dollars were appropriated and spent in this process. There is a paper trail a mile long leading directly to the White House.

I'm wondering more and more if these are all real signs of the end times. And the fact that CPAPs use micro technology directly derived from the abortion industry is reprehensible.

Insurance plans are now required to have a lot more things covered. For example, every policy must include coverage for delivering a baby (even if you are are male or well past the age of producing a baby). All plans must have mental health coverage. All plans must allow pre-existing conditions. These are things that cause the price to go up. Just because you have a plan you like right now, doesn't mean that the plan wil be considered good enough to be legal in 2014. In my case, I will most likely lose my insurance completely. It is still in negotiations right now. My plan was really good, and the premiums were super low. But the plan qualifies for the 40% cadillac plan tax, and my employer doesn't want to pay that tax. She didn't want to deal with all the requirements, so she closed her private practice and moved even further away to join a group where all the paperwork is handled by somebody else. I followed her when she opened her private practice several years ago, but that was already an hour drive each way. Now it is further. My mom went once, and hated the new place. So, time to look for a new doctor.
