My main laptop is running Win 7 64-bit, but I'd also like to install it on a Win 8 32-bit tablet too so I can have it when I travel, or go see my Dr.
Currently using a Respironics REMstar Auto 551P

I just upgraded my laptop from XP to a Windows 8 - 64bit machine. Could someone send me a link to the correct version of Encore?

The only Encore software that I know of that will work install on Windows 8 is Encore Pro 2.12 and it's a bit of a PITA to use.
Which Encore software did you have on the older computer?
Now there is a workaround that we can do by copying the already installed Encore software and manually transferring the already installed version to the Win 8 computer but this won't work if you were using one of the Pro versions.
Only works with EncoreBasic or Viewer.
There is no way to copy the big hog Pro and make it work because of various files it installs and needs.

You can copy that already installed folder (the main folder which includes all the sub folders and files) to disc and manually paste it to your Win 8 computer.
Then open that main folder and look for the application exe file (the one that launches the program) and right click on that file....create a shortcut to where ever you want easy, quick access to the program and use that short cut to use the program.
It will work. I have sent a copy to several Win 8 users who didn't have it to start with.
So if your older computer is still functioning...that's what I would do. I am unsure if the old data will make the copy but your SD card contains almost everything anyway and will just put it right back in the copied Basic version when you do the upload again.
It will have the same data as you would get with Pro without the headaches of Pro.
If your older computer has totally died..I can send you a link for my already installed Basic version...just send me a PM.

Since the reports are identical with Basic and Pro...you gain nothing but headaches trying to use Pro.

Okay, can I put in my request for help regarding for Encore Pro for Windows 7 (64)? Just bought a new computer with Win 7. Was running Encore Pro 1.8.49 on the old one (XP) wonderfully.

I tried installing the 1.8.49. I didn't have much hope that it would install, but thought I'd give it a shot. Received an error SQL (or something like that). So any help is greatly appreciated!

Not compatible with Win 7 and most likely a 64 bit computer at that. The old Pro only worked on 32 bit computers.

Check your private messages. I sent you some alternate choices that will work.
