i forgot the collar. was a terrible night.
We were in NYC, and had a very busy first day. The next day was also going to be busy, so we hurried to bed.
The next morning, Gramps asked me what the hell was wrong the first hour of the night. "You got up after an hour and were OK the rest of the night."
My routine was off, and I forgot to put on my collar. I was snorting, gurgling, choking and who knows what else. Once I put on the collar, all was well.

The professional sleep community is obssessed with chin straps. They should all have to wear one for several nights to experience what a patient has to deal with. I tried several and gave up on them pretty fast.

The video was excellent LL encouraged full face mask users to use a soft cervical collar.
My lakage is out of site. After viewing the video I found my old worn out Dakota pad. The velcro step was worn out. So i changed it's position put it on and slept like a baby. It was remarkable first night.
Second night--bad leakage
Third night--excessive terrible leakage AHI was good.
However, I felt terrible waking up today.
I live in Canada and deal with amazon dot ca. I'm looking for a cervical collar to buy, or a link to the travel pad that LL used in the video.
Amazing work! I'm so grateful you do it. I believe every sleep doctor and every DME supplier should be forced to be a hoser until they learn that it's hard to get it right.
OSA treatment should be easy, and sleep quality should be good. I've been compliant for about 35 years now in Ontario Canada. I can count on fingers of both hands how many days I've felt rested and energized after sleeping. Yes my machine was turned on.
LL thank you so much for all you do. (ResMed S10 for her model; humidifier; ResMed N20 mask with machine set as apap/mask as nasal pillows

"The professional sleep community" are deplorably inexperienced
in actually using cpap of any kind.
I reckon no more than a handful actually have OSA; and no doubt
a large proportion of those were looking for a "cure" or quick fix
when they first entered the field.
Fools.
