Good to hear from you again, Mark.
Oh God, I understand the process of waiting and hoping for the software tools to get get updated or fixed so you can fix something else.
I suspect your worst critic is that evil bastard who stares back at you from the mirror.

Yup.. I've spent the last few months in a fuzzy deadlock because of a choice between a printing system crash in Qt 4.8 and a critical graphics/mouse handling bug in Qt 5.x, both to me are unacceptable and require relatively major restructuring to work around.
There is only so much banging ones head against the desk a person can do before being driven completely insane. My brain has been such a soggy mush, the best I could do was wait on the Qt devs for an update. (Of course the most recent release doesn't fix it, but I ain't waiting any longer, I've got to attack it head on.)
I guess that's the price of using tools that are supposed to make my job easier. :-/
The fog is starting to clear up a bit so at my next moment of clarity, I'm going to take an objective look at the whole structure, and absolutely murder both those stinking bugs with extreme prejudice. Hopefully cleaning up a lot of the scattered foggy mess in the process.

My Gosh! I just made it through pruning and despamming my inbox.. what a mammoth task that was!
Nothing in there now but SleepyHead related stuff... hundreds of bug reports, feature requests and pleas for help I've cruely neglected.
I will get through it eventually!
Once again, my sincerest and most humble apologies to everyone I missed getting back to.

jedimark,
I'm happy that SH exists and that I can do things with it that I can't with ReScan. I like all the others want you to get better and take your time. Nothing worth doing is worth rushing.
Besides, look how long Microcarp has been doing operating systems and they still can't get it right. Yours is still in the early stages and seems to me to be more stable.
Take care and get well.

Please remember that in order to help others, you first must take care of yourself.
We are in awe of what you have done, and are striving to do; but be well first.

LOVE this! If you don't stare at the mirror and don't overthink things, does that mean you have no critics?

Mark
Supported you when I first downloaded the software, and supported you again tonight.
Please remember though that your software works wonders only when you have a clear noggin. Fog in the noggin ain't gonna help anybody especially you.
Take care of yourself first and foremost. Once you feel better you'll do further wonders with your software. I look forward to that day, whether it's next week, next month or next year.
