Note only SleepingUgly gave an honest and logical assessment without throwing insults or accusations at me and he/she was also unaware this is a cpap.com forum.
I have known this forum was owned by cpap.com for years. I meant that I didn't initially know there was a connection when I first joined the forum.
EVERY company no matter how good makes errors or at one time or another will intentionally or unintentionally provide less-than-stellar customer service. The responses posted here show your minds are more or less closed to that possibility.
I think you're missing the point. Those of us who have been here awhile DO recognize that EVERY company screws up at various times, but we have seen Johnny & Carolyn make good on it when it happens. THAT'S what makes us so satisfied with their company. Now do you understand?
Just give them a chance.

They very fact that Johnny and Carolyn did not delete this thread says something about their integrity.

Why do people post rude or smart ass replies to someone having trouble with a purchase? Can't we just ask for more detail and help get to the facts?
A claim was made that they were sold product and given an invoice with a specific guarantee in writing on the invoice. Only three possibilities here:
1). It's happened
2). It didnt happen
3). The invoice had ambiguous language or there were special circumstances
It would seem people would benefit from finding the truth regardless of which option it is.
Please take a clear picture of the invoice to support your claim and let people try and help.

Sorry you had a negative experience. I have only purchased replacement pillows from cpap.com so I can not comment on anything but that limited experience which was positive.
My DME on the other hand is a completely different thread (literally). They continuously over-billed me and refused to make adjustments out of laziness since they had already billed my insurance incorrectly.
It's been my experience in life that each of us has different experiences with the same retailers/vendors and I'm sure some people would swear by Lincare while I had a negative experience. Thank you for posting your experience so I will be more careful if I ever want to switch masks and purchase this insurance.

Why proclaim an outcome that hasn't happened and be rude to people who can help you?
I'm not a shill, I've actually walked into the store and returned something in person.
Just submit a picture of your invoice and let's discuss it without drama.

I called...the error was admitted by cpap.com...but they refused to refund my money and instead offered me "store credit" for their mistake and I had to ship the mask back at my own expense. Not good enough. I can provide the name of the person I spoke with if you would like...but I don't want to throw individuals under the bus.
ouch...gotta hurt cpap fanboys....gotta hurt.

Tell him what happened and see what he says. Then post it all here.

Oh, and I will post a picture of the invoice...if I can get someone on this forum who has the authority to get my refund to do something about it...otherwise I'm wasting my time.

Why the hell should we not throw insults when you threw them first?
You called yourself a dunce - we agreed with you.
You had one experience where you screwed up. We had another experience. Ours is just as valid as yours.
Take responsibility for your screw up both in your order and in your initial and subsequent posts.

Fishy,
When I had an issue with cpap.com several months ago, I PMd Carolyn Goodman. Problem was taken care of immediately. You might want to do that as previously suggested.

Its not clear to me that the OP purchased return insurance. Since mask parts were purchased, I don't see how he/she could have purchased mask insurance to go along with it.
The OP claims that cpap.com chose to get around the presription requirement by offering to sell mask parts, which the OP agreed to by placing the order. The OP could simply have sent the prescription a week later, and gotten the new mask a week later. Instead, he/she chose to purchase mask parts, and now wants to utilize the "mask insurance" which is an optional purchase when one buys a mask. IF and that's a big if, cpap.com sold mask parts AND sold the mask insurance to the OP AND then claims that the return insurance purchased is invalid, I could see why the OP is up in arms.
Otherwise, I think what we're witnessing is a retaliatory response to misreading the "mask insurance" detail and making some bad assumptions, where the fault does not rest with cpap.com.

Yes, returns on warranty issues only, but we're talking about mask return insurance. Here's the lingo from the Swift FX mask:
Return Insurance
Mask return insurance allows you to return a used mask within 30 days of its purchase, minus the cost of shipping, no questions asked. This is a smart buy when trying a new mask! Return insurance includes a pre printed mailing label for an easy return. While anyone can purchase Return insurance, CPAP.com is only able to provide return labels to customers within the 48 Continental United States.
Not Included
Return Insurance For Swift™ FX For Her Nasal Pillow CPAP Mask with Headgear ($20.64)
A purchaser may select to also purchase return insurance for $20.64. Did cpap.com allow the OP to do so for mask parts, and now is refusing to honor the insurance claim? I doubt it.
