Hawaiimom, I remember when I first got some REAL sleep several months after starting CPAP. The first time it was only a couple hours but I felt like what I imagine Rip Van Winkle must have felt like coming out of a 20 year sleep. It felt so good I'd have worn a bucket on my head if that's what it would take to get more of that sleep. Compliance? Yeah, I could do that! How great that you're getting to experience that.

CPAP has resolved my anxiety of going to bed - I look forward to it now.

Oh, GAWD, that brings back repressed memories from when I had my CPAP machine set wrong and was too ignorant to make the connection.

I remember the day I woke up after the lab tech told me that I had really bad OSA and he was obligated to put me on a CPAP the first night of my test. I only got 3 hours of sleep under CPAP that night but WHAT A DIFFERENCE I FELT!

My RT seemed genuinely disappointed that I didn't have a truly luminous experience during the 3 hours I managed to sleep on my titration run. It got better, though...

Me too, Now if I just hadn't gotten hooked on watching "Kojak" re-runs... (they come on at 1AM)

Hey Arch, now that you've been "outed" I'm wondering if you're really a Master Spy rather than a Master Member?
