Chop his arm off!
Something like a Swift FX nasal pillow mask might work if you can fix his mouth leaks, as long as he can breathe through his nose.
I use a 3 inch non-adhesive Ace bandage to make my own chin strap. I wrap it three times under my chin, up over the top of my head. I pin the ends together with safety pins. It breathes fairly well and keeps me comfortable.

Take a serious look at fisher & paykel zest Q nasal mask. It has a air filter at the mask elbow, this was the answer for me and my wife. "Q" stands for quiet. 3 sizes available.

Gotta love Amazon, that pillow arrived today!! Can't wait for hubby to try it out. He said he's willing to try it "for me". Guess he doesn't fully realize that ultimately, it's for himself.
Found out from DME that his equipment prescription has run out. Good for him, he made an appointment with the ENT immediately! AND he's been more conscious about his mask leaks ever since I told him I was looking for help, and threatened to tie his head up with an Ace bandage, LOL! Now to get him a good mask and we'll be golden. Things are looking up!

One question ... why is it that all the equipment but a mask doesn't show in my posts? I've checked my profile, and it's all listed there ... do I need to update or anything?

Some of the links to some of the older equipment (like discontinued for a newer model) are broken and I bet yours is one of them.
Just manually add it to the comments section (see my comments section). No real need to mention the specific humidifier unless you just want to. You can say "so and so machine" with heated humidifier and that's good enough.
