Why use the larger type? I thought it would be easier for others to read! Frankly, I find the regular type here to be too small but the next option (and I agree with you) is too large.
I also find the regular typeset difficult to read..
Did you know you can alter the text size on your side of things to make it easier......
Look at the small light blue box above the forum thread...up to the left and below where the Chat link s shown...There's a "bigger font" thing...just click on it and the font size will increase...keep clicking on it until you are comfortable with the sizing.
Following your story and hoping that you get things sorted out with the insomnia. As you have found out...cpap doesn't always fix bad sleep. It does a great job with sleep apnea problems but not all all sleep problems can be blamed solely on sleep apnea.
Keep plugging away with it to try to get the insomnia monster tamed.

If I wake up unable to fall back to sleep, which is rare, I start reading again. Sometimes I read for an hour or two and then fall back asleep. At other times, it may only be 15 minutes or less before I fall asleep again.
The internet does not work for me, as it stimulates me and keeps me awake and unable to sleep. I've read a book called Dreamland: Adventures in the Strange Science of Sleep if you'd like to read more about the topic.
you have picked up a good point. my grandma used to do it. when she suffered not getting sleep, she used to read book. I have this habit also. book gives me best companion all time.

Actually, I wonder Caffeinated. I've thought about it.
I have installed f.lux (you can read about it here:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/F.lux ). It presumably reduces computer light stimulus after sundown. It is possible, of course, the light stimulus isn't the only problem with a computer.
The goal, according to Dr. Kralow in SOUND SLEEP, SOUND MIND, is to sloooow brain wave activity. One way to do so is to read humor or something light. I've been watching animal YouTubes because some are so delightful and fun -- but then I really love animals. Animals aside, the key thing to avoid is anything that provokes heavy thinking, ruminating or anything that results in fast brain-wave activity.
I'm going to try something different tonight: Watching an old "I Love Lucy" re-run. I'm hoping for a lot of laughter. I'm open to other suggestions. I'm really working on this problem and I've learned and/or been reminded about many things from fellow cpaptalk.com contributors.

Thanks for pointing out where I can click to increase the size of the type, Pugsy. I didn't notice it before and it's very helpful.
Can you also tell me how to highlight sentences from someone's post in my reply? I can't figure out how to do it here. Thanks!
