Frozen in position. It is stuck in this position...hence the term...stickied.... It won't move down the page like the posts normally move as new replies or new threads are created even if no one comments here in this thread to bring it up.SleepingUgly wrote:What does "stickied" mean?
It will be at the top of the the active threads. Right in everyone's face more or less. So now all we have to say is look for the thread at the top instead of having it move off the page and us having to provide a link to it when suggesting that someone new go read the thread.
No need to do the bump thing for it.

Comment,
It is "stuck" in this position because the administrators decided to do it. May be to give mollete a chance to correct his language and also emphasize the importance of the posts. Or for posters to just take it as is and blame other posters for it, and thus resolve the issue. What is your opinion P ? In 2005 "rested gal" posted lovely opinions about "mollete". See them here:

Yeah, that's probably it. Either that or they are waiting for someone like me to point out that A-S-S-H-O-L-E is actually NOT a "four-letter" word (but A-D-H-D is, as is H-A-T-E).

Correct. The administrators decided to do it because a lot of people (which we know you weren't one of them) requested that it be made a sticky.avi123 wrote: It is "stuck" in this position because the administrators decided to do it.

I think we should leave it. It clearly shows the difference between The Forces of Good and The Forces of Stupid.SleepingUgly wrote:OK, let's delete all this crap from this thread just leave the good content.
While another helpful chapter would be Posters Who Offer Valuable and Helpful Advice and He Who Is a Waste of the Earth's Valuable Resources, there are too many things left to do with only 2 chapters left to do it in.

Kaisgram- my daughter has Tourette Syndrome also . She is kind, sweet, and polite. I am always offended when people throw around TS like its some sort of curse.
Hugs to you and your son. Thanks to mollete for all his work. I wish he had administered my sleep study instead of the goofballs who did mine!

Re: CPAP Basics - 15 - Table of Contents
Hello All!
I'm not sure how "Table of Contents" relates to CPAP Basics, but I certainly have molette to thank for bringing the topic I originated to life. They say imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, and for that, I am truly honored. For all I know, the Basics posts may have just drifted off into obscurity without his help, but now it's "stickied". I wasn't sure what that meant until I read this thread.
My last post on the CPAP Basic topic will be this weekend, and I can only hope it meets everyone's expectations.
By the way, while I can't say the title, the second edition of my book is now available for anyone interested.
Jim
