When I tried to turn my humidifier up I felt exactly as you describe. The warm air causes me to feel like I can't breathe and it causes congestion, so my humidifier is always at 1 or in passover. Others on here have said how the warm air helps them. It's probably going to take a little playing around to figure out what is most comfortable for you, both at the beginning and during the night.

I think humidity and temp are as personal as the temp of your bath/shower water. No two people have the same preference. I think that is just one of those things you have to figure out for yourself. I am still tweaking the ClimateLine. It has been an unusually cold early spring. I just bumped my temp up to 84 last night and I feel pretty good this morning. I'll probably have to start dialing it back down as the temp and humidity rise during the upcoming months. So not only is everyone different in this regard, but even as the seasons change your preferences may change with it.

During my sleep study....it felt like I was getting warm blown in my FFM - to me it was like I was suffocating from my own breathing and not getting "fresh air". So now I have cool air hitting my face in my FFM and it makes me feel comfortable and I lost that suffocating feeling by my 3rd night on CPAP.
