And: my order was shipped today--not the 8th! Yippee!
I can picture the order fulfillment line when something this anticipated finally comes in.
Carolyn, please take those kids some cookies!

I called respironics customer service - they said the new fabric piece is shipping as of April 1st and they fixed the area where the clips attach (thats why they waited until April 1st to launch everywhere). The lady told me that some of the homecare dealers were giving both the clear and fabric frames to see if there was a difference in feedback from cpap users.

For free insurance, I could have waited a little longer.

I guess I was one of the lucky ones who got both styles of frames.

Men are a hardy bunch and should be able to handle the slightly heavier silicone frame, however I have noticed that the girls prefer the softer gentler fabric style which is also lighter.
Realistically its just a matter of preference (fabric or silicone) ,they are both shaped the same but I think the silicone will out last the fabric and is much more forgiving on the plastic clips.
I have both and have tried both, I'm a very active side sleeper and found the fabric headgear moved around too much for my liking (It chaffed my skin).

I really think those straps that sit over the crown of the head are great. The ones on the F&P Eson really are fantastic, I honestly can fit that mask on most people without any leak (might be a different story when they are at home )
Same with Mirage FX, the additional crown strap is great.
Looking forward to giving this mask a go when it becomes available here.

Mine just came today! I ordered the silicone frame, because I'm used to the swift FX headgear.
There seems to be hard plastic embedded inside the clear silicone, because it's a lot stiffer than the FX.
After I sleep with it (tonight), I'll know if it needs cheek covers.
I have lots of fabric, so that can be a snap (maybe I can use snaps)
Edit: I'm starting out with Petite, but I wouldn't be surprised if S/M works, too.

Your avatar indicates that Petite is unlikely to work.

I ordered one through my insurance/DME - Kaiser/Apria for the heck of it. Its a special order and they don't know when they'll have it. Could be 2 weeks or longer. I said that is ok. I'm not paying for it. I get a freebie mask quarterly so I don't mind waiting

I received mine yesterday, but also came down with a head/sinus cold go figure. I really think it will work much better then the Quattro FX I have been using. Had it on for about 4 hours before I had to take it off, too stuffed up and coughing. From the short time I did have it on, very comfortable and no leaks!
