I knew I was going to be a full-face mask user and have never even tried anything else.
The ResMed Ultra Mirage Full Face (UMFF) was my first, and is the one I have used on a regular basis (with the exceptions of briefly trying a couple of others over the years).
Part of it was that I was pretty sure I couldn't sleep with my mouth closed with a nasal mask and I just couldn't get past the thought of trying to sleep with rubbery things shoved up my nostrils with nasal pillows.

I just switched to the TAP PAP. Best mask ever!! But if you are interested, check my notes below:
I spent 10 years with a Breeze, which was the best mask until the Tap Pap. I tried at least 3 other nasal pillow masks over the years, but always went back to the Breeze.
I decided to try the TAP PAP because it sounded like a great idea in theory. It is in practice, too. It requires much less pressure on your nostrils to get a good seal, and it doesn't move at all (assuming you are not a mouth breather) as you toss and turn.
HOWEVER:
-the mouthpiece shrinks after the initial fitting. I was able to refit it very nicely by making sure I had it VERY loose as it cooled (on the third try!).
-I found that my Breeze nasal pillows felt more comfortable and provided a better seal than the ones that came with the Tap Pap. I have retried the Tap Pap pillows after a week, and still preferred the Breeze pillows.

How did you get the Breeze pillows to fit in the holes? I tried it but the Breeze was too large and while it fit if I forced it..there was an obvious gap at the bottom seal line.

Sleepweaver and FX for her, switching back and forth every month or so. Wanted an Elan last time I ordered a mask, but the DME said they couldn't get it; will try again this round and if they still can't get it I'll consider changing DME. Also would like to try the Bella loops eventually.
