I'm at that stage too - just wondering whether anyone has fond the F&P Icon to be in the same league as the Resmed/Respironics auto machines.
Why I ask is that the price is significantly more bearable.

I don't believe that the F&P machines can detect open-airway apneas (centrals). That affects the pressure algorithm
as pressure increases sometimes cause centrals, and the machine has no way to know if this happens.
Also, software for the F&Ps is difficult to obtain and difficult to use.
