Post by isaiah » Thu Sep 30, 2004 10:16 pm

I have a GoodKnight 418G, I have the passover humidifer but it still dries my mouth and nose out real bad when i sleep, So I'm looking to buy a heated humidifer, Do i need a prescription for this?

Hi Isaiah,

Heated humidification can make a huge difference in your cpap therapy.

I use the Fisher & Paykell HC-150 Heated Humdififer. This is a reasonably priced unit of unsurpassed quality and performance.

cpap.com sells this unit for the best price of anyone on the net.

You don't need a prescription to buy a heated humidifier.

Here is a link to the HC-150 on cpap.com's website.

Ted

Hi Judy,

I did a google search for "animated gifs sleep" and I got a load of pages. I found all sorts of places that have these cool avatars.

Isaiah

You might also like to check out the DeVilbiss heated humidifier. I use one with my Goodknight 420E which sits comfortably on top of the humidifier.

Cpap.com have them for about the same price as the F&P. See

I also have a heated hose to avoid any chance of rainout.
