That post is me.Guest wrote:Well, I have another sleep study scheduled for tonight. My sleep lab is trying to get me in as quick as possible and someone canceled, so I am in for tonight. This one is for an ASV test. This is good, because I have heard multiple people saying this is what they think I need... and have listed my path to ASV pretty accurately. My only concern is that Bipap ASV seems to be the last step, and what do we do if this does not work? I know alot of people have said that ASV is what works for Centrals or mixed apnea, but its just hard to feel good until I know that this is going to work.
Wish me luck

That's what I hear from ASV users like JohnBFisher. It can take a few months for you to get used to what the machine is trying to do for you and with you.Nooblakahn wrote:does this therapy get better over time the longer the machine gets used to your breathing patterns?

I understand your concern, but I seriously doubt that's the case. The fact that they brought you back to use an ASV would indicate you need it. But we kind of figured that anyway...Nooblakahn wrote:I have no doubt its worth it. Im just concerned that the test might show its not worth it. Guess ill have to wait it out.
