Big test today was going to watch a film (Les Miserables) in cinema. Haven't watched an entire film in years - always fall asleep through most of it. But today ..... didn't feel least bit tired and watched entire film. Brilliant. My partner also says i seem much more energetic and alert. Hopefully I'll eventually be able to spend whole night with mask on, but even now I'd definitely say my CPAP experience has been life changing.
My friend(who does NOT have OSA) saw Les Mis yesterday, said the film was too long and she fell asleep!

Found a CPAP pillow at Bed Bath & Beyond for around $60.00. There may be cheaper prices out there, but I am happy with this one. See equipment on my posting.

After just over a week on my Resmed S9 Autoset machine, I've just managed my best night so far - 6.7 hours and AHI of 1.5. Feeling far more comfortable wearing mask and didn't feel urge to take it off once it had reached full treatment pressure. Incredible to thing that was probably the best nights sleep I've had for years !!!

Feel like I've made great progress in the last few days. Managed 2 nights of 5 and 6 hours, and have slept right thought until morning still wearing the mask rather than waking in the early hours and removing it. AHI is around 1.5 or less every night, and feeling soooooo much better. Suddenly feel 'normal' again rather than fighting against tiredness all the time. Yayyyy for CPAP. Just wish I'd got diagnosed years ago.
