If Zeo goes away, there might be a problem getting headbands. Has anyone ever replaced the sensor cloth in the headbands? How was that done? The cloth is available on the internet.

This morning when I tried to go to the 'coaching' area on the site, it didn't exist.

That could be fixed in a few short days if Phil Emery was running things:

There are Instructibles on working with conductive fabric.
Some styles tend to ravel, so sealing the edges with a hot knife or fray-chek may be necessary.
The sensor mount appears to include some silicone--maybe aquarium sealant, or food-grade silicone?
If somebody does this before we do, please post.
I don't think Instructibles will publish anything medical.
But I could be wrong, as I've seen leg pockets for insulin pumps for teens.

See Ben Rubin's (co-founder of Zeo) twitter and blog sites as well as Zeo on twitter for some insight?

I was serious about the post above, I think we could use EEG or ECG electrodes instead of fabric.

It would be interesting if those cheap sensors worked. I'm not due for my first sensor change for a while so I can't chop up the old ones to see whats all inside yet.

Another thing I'd like to try is to get some of those self adhesive electrodes and just stick the Zeo to my head - no headband required.

Are you sure those three words truly belong in the same sentence?

Hah! Unfortunately, maybe they do in this context.

I spoke with a customer service person this morning who called me back to help me walk through the set-up. very nice young man and extremely helpful. I asked him what was going on with the site and such, he told me they are doing away with direct distribution and going through resellers only going forward and the site was going through a major redesign, and thanked me for my patience. He also told me about a problem with the Apps, but they are working on it.
All of ya'll sound like you have way too much time on your hands. Maybe that is what's keeping you up at night.

I don't have any extra time on my hands. If I did, though, I'd probably be tempted to do stuff like chatting up customer service reps all day.
Seriously, Thanks for the info SandyMandy. Good stuff.

My Zeo helps hold my élan headgear in place. I hope they don't eliminate the headband entirely.
It would be nice though, to be able to use it with my Comfortgel Full face (Impossible now)
(Maybe with tape-on electrodes, and clip the transmitter to my jammies.)
