The ResMed machine is the only machine that will show those upward lines. I think its mouth leaks. But it happens even if I tape my mouth.
Part of it is the scale used in SleepyHead and difference in each machine's firmware for reporting leaks.
I imagine those are minor nasal pillow movement. Normally mouth leaks are larger and don't look so spikey. If you are taping your mouth and the tape is still in place when you wake up then it really can't be mouth related unless tape is loose.

Words like "it works for me" don't tell much.
Thank you, but I do not track this right now. I just haven't had the time to figure out how and what I need to do (though I do plan to when things at work/home slow down some). I'm not as concerned about "leaks" in the sense you are talking about. I am concerned about the ones that wake me up in the middle of the night because they blow into my eyes.

Those aren't so much leaks, but a result of a badly fitted (or adjusted) mask. Which ones (models) have you tried? Many of us, maybe most, have gone through more than 3-4 before finding the right one... do you have a DME who'll let you try different ones either at home with possibly 'return insurance' (like Cpap.com does), or else in the store, carefully fitted and tried on lying down?

I too have trouble with leaks. My best success has been to tie hose up with rubber band so it comes over my head. Invested in a buckwheat pillow that also made a world of difference

Comment,
During the 2 1/2 years since I started CPAPing I tried about 15 full face masks, 5 nasal traditional masks (beside pillows), etc., but none blew straight into my eyes. In most masks, if I tightened the upper headgear strap it stopped any upward flow from the masks, but often pressed too much on my nose bridge.
My present mask which is this one, often does dry my eyes. In such cases I rub the eyes, over the closed lids, with faucet water, and the dryness goes away. My Ophthalmologist suggested this lubricant but I don't think that I need it yet:

I was experiencing sinus problems as well, wake up sneezing in the middle of the night, not a great experience when you have headgear and nasal pillows, coughing, sinus headaches. My sleep dr suggested I try a Netti Pot and he also reduced the pressure of my machine. It took steady use of the Netti Pot and persistence but after a couple of weeks of use I've not had any more problems with this, I also mess with the humidity, this does help especially the cough. Hang in there and talk to your sleep doctor about this, my DME wasn't very helpful but the doctor was. Good Luck and don't give up (I almost did).
