Mine goes up past my forehead on to the pillow and then along the headboard to the machine. I toss and turn all night and it does not seem to be an issue with my movement.

I sleep facing the center of the bed, away from my machine. The hose goes down toward my chest, and then across my body to the machine. If I roll over for a short time, it hangs directly down, and sometimes feels heavy. Most of the time, I am completely unaware of it. I do keep it on top of the covers as I feel like it is being pulled on if it is under the covers.

Mine goes up, up, up...
I really like the ingenuity of CFrog's solution. But I don't have any fishing poles laying about.
Saw this recommended by another forum member a while back. Have been very happy with it. It's inexpensive (~$10.), easy to "install", and very portable. Arm is loose enough to follow your movements. The hose loop is secure while allowing easy adjustment.
