I heard that Respironics is releasing an enhanced fabric frame next week - let me know if you hear anything

Have you heard any more about the enhanced fabric frame?

I have been using the Aloha and was happy with it for quite some time, but the last setting on the articulating prongs does not tip up far enough to perfectly fit the angle of entry into my nostrils, causing me to either have to readjust it several times during the night and/or overtighten it against the bottom of my nostrils, so I am considering the Wisp to simply eliminate that issue by enclosing the entire nose in an otherwise lightweight mask.

However I wouldn't want to end up with the apparently inferior first issue of the fabric frame.

In addition, I was concerned as to whether my mustache would prevent a good seal, which is why my first choice was individual nasal pillows up to now, but I see the "morphing" video on the Respironics website includes pictures of a lot of guys with mustaches:

Is the Wisp a nasal pillow or a nasal mask?

It is a nasal mask...covers the nostrils and part of the nose but supposedly using a really soft cushion that is not as large as some of the other nasal (over the nose) masks.

I would insist on using the silicone headgear as its a bit firmer although a tad heavier however silicone sticks in place much better. I found the fabric moved too much as i'm an active side sleeper and was chaffing my face.

There wasn't anything about the Wisp that I liked! The "fabric" wasn't fabric and the silicone was hard - not soft and flexible like the Swift. The piece that fits over the nose was not comfortable at all. I expected it to be a great mask... for me it wasn't. Maybe the new one they are coming out with will be better.

love the Wisp. less constricting feel. better field of vision. less breeze from exhaling around your face , especially up by your eyes.

I have been using a cpap system for almost twenty years. I have purchased and evaluated several types of systems .
The Wisp clear plastic based head gear is has proved to be the most comfortable for me personally however I found that the quality of material (clear plastic frame) is very poor and I am required to replace it often.
There is absolutely no reason for that.

Concerned

I found the front frame quite durable; but if one fails to take proper care of it, anything can happen.
Replacement is suggested at three months, but I have gotten double that with casual care.
--Could have used it even longer if cosmetics were no issue. (The look of the mask---I don't wear makeup)
The frame part can be purchased separately at reasonable cost.
I wore the mask for a couple of years until I found a mask I like better.
