I've checked Craigslist and they want about $700.00 for a used one. Kijiji has one listed for $250.00 but they haven't responded to my message from yesterday.
I placed the unit over the heat register overnight, I plugged it in this morning and I'm still getting the "Error" message.
I never thought I would miss this machine as much as I do. I hope I'll find a temporary replacement by the end of this week. Now if only people would reply to there ad messages.
Thanks archangle.

I called the insurance company and they'll pay for a replacement come middle of March 2013. In the mean time I cleared out all passages with compressed air and then use a blow dryer to dry out any condensation. It was worth a try but it still shows the error code.
Is there any chance they will pay for repair?
Did you check the sensors? They probably look like tiny tubes off the main air path. The behavior before it stopped working entirely suggests a sensor problem to me. However I have no idea if fixing the initial problem will reset the error code or allow it to run again.

They gave me a choice of repairing the machine and delaying a replacement for a couple years or paying for a new one in about 4 months, I think I'll get a new one in a couple months and find a spare replacement in the meantime.
I believe the machine has to be totally dry by now since I took it apart and blew it dry more then once, then left it over the heat register overnight. You maybe right, in that if the problem is solved it still needs to be reset which I don't know how to do.
Thanks for the reply MidnightOwl.

In conclusion, I was unable to repair so I purchased a used replacement. Sure would be nice to get it to work again and have a back up, but as will some electronics it may not be a hardware problem, rather a software, but I'll never know.
Thanks everyone.
