Give me this week to gather my doctors bills for the year. Just got this apap 1/9/2012. I should still have all the receipts.
Whether I do/don't find receipts for this year, I'll still call Apria and ask for an itemized list of billing pertaining to the $72 charge. Thanks for the heads up greatunclebill. I never would have thought to do this. As a side note, since I've found the forum. I no longer go to Apria for xpap supplies, I go straight to Cpap.com. Previously, I would order my supplies from Apria and CareCentrix would bill me.

One would think: a heads up (in advance) on the $72 service fee should be the LAW?

I agree with that. If I was billed for it I would be ticked. I guess I paid 20% of it.

Sorry it's taken me so long to get back with you. I did look back through my medical records with CareCentrix billing at the beginning of January 2012 when I received my APAP. Upon meeting with a respiratory therapist back in January for 5 min I thought I was charged $72, whereas I was actually charged $67. But still.

@GreatUncleBill - I am going to contact my insurance tomorrow morning and discuss this charge before the year ends. See what they have to say.

I just called my insurance provider. The $67 charge back in January 2012 for RT consultation when receiving my APAP was a valid charge for a 5 min. consultation. It doesn't seem right, but that is what I was told. However, I will say this, when I am billed from CareCentrix will be more watchful of the charges.

They offered me a copy of Encore Pro, but I had already downloaded Basic and it works fine for me.

No, it did not happen because my doctor does not use EncoreAnywhere.....imagine that. It's ok though, because Basic is smaller and is very easy to use.
And no, I was not suprised that my doctor doesn't use it. My new DME has to fax my data to them printed out. lol....Actually my last visit, I just took a CDR with my data myself and that was good for my doctor.
