That "shouldn't have" happened..
I use Tor through Firefox, Windows7, and have never had a problem.
Every time I log onto Tor, it shows that I'm coming from a different location, usually somewhere in Europe, but I've been to every country at some time or other.
It should also show you on the homepage which IP address is being assigned to you during the session.
That's the whole purpose of Tor....

I didn't think to look for the homepage of the IP being assigned. I just noticed that it was generating an IP address different than my own. I can think of a couple of reasons that this site may have attributed that post to Archangle, but they would be just guesses.
I downloaded the free Tor browser bundle which includes a firefox based browser and Vidalia utility. It works great, very easy, and the price is right. Obviously, it hid my true identity.
Thanks for the tip, Vader.

Yep, Tor works great. whenever I use it, it gives the local weather on my homepage of the city I'm *masquerading* from.

So... you aren't really from North Carolina?

What is TOR and how do you get there from here? Anyone?

The best explanation I've heard to explain the NY Jets is that Joe Namath sold his soul ( and the team's soul) to Satan in order to win Super Bowl III - another year -thankfully - crawls to its inevitable conclusion

HI YA JACK!!!

Ok so I noticed right away when I started coming here that there are some really nice folks on here and I really appreciate the response and compassion I have received from them. So thank you, nice folks.

I also noticed that there are a lot of really cranky people on here that always have some sarcastic, or comedic response...and...I think I tend to favor these people.

You crack me up and I really need humor right now...so Thank you cranky's!

Yes me too!
The latest murmurs are "We are going to do it a 'girls school production'" and "it would be fun to freak people out with girl on girl love scene" Apparently no guys auditioned.

Does she like to lead when she dances?

Does she really want this role and this part?

I don't find this especially entertaining, "liberal" yes.

We're are all (mostly) so soft, kind and not 'judgmental' here. Laissez-fair. Live and let live.

How do you feel about what someone in school has selected for your young daughter, mom? Did they ask for your concurrence? Did you readily and CONFIDENTLY agree to go along? If so, why, pray tell. What wisdom might you be trying to instill in your child. Remember, she is still a rather young child. C-h-i-l-d. Child.

My fear is that our "liberal"-ness has gone more than a bit much and our children aren't as likely to be as healthy as a consequence. That's my personal point of view.

Another way to put it, although perhaps with a slightly different slant, is how the French put it (although she is still very young), "Vive la difference!" I say give you kid a break, mom.
