The same problem happened to me and I had to switch masks as a result. I can only get the Amara to work without causing a pressure sore on the nose bridge if I position it very high on the nose and loosen the top setting to the max. But it's not easy. And it tends to increase leaks at the chin as a result.

Some people have even had raw, bloody pressure sores onthe nose bridge as a result of the cushion design -- so if you need to return the mask, do so before your 30 day trial ends. The Resmed Mirage Quattro is a good replacement.

The Amara is otherwise a really great mask design -- it looks good, the headgear is nice, and its super easy to clean. Far easier to clean than the Resmeds. But that cushion design at the nose bridge is a serious defect and they will definitely have to change it to prevent these pressure sore problems in the future.
