But you can't win the girly-man prize unless you also use the bella loops, you know...
Ordered the other day via CPAP.com and on it's way. I'll have to model it once it arrives
Well now you're just asking for it lazer. I''m eagerly awaiting a photo of you modeling your pink bella loops -- and did you know, even when you're on someone's Foe list, you can still pm that person? For example, you could send them a photo....

I don't know if my problem is IQ or computer literacy. Probably IQ - I do have a doctorate in computer science.

I tried to Google for ABP, and for various guesses at expanding the initials. Unfortunately, there seems to be a lot of popular material that did not seem to be relevant. Perhaps for those of us who are IQ and/or computer literacy challenged you could post more information about how to do the blocking.
Good one Pats! For the record the bug did make me poke my screen once when I had the lights turned down low. Then again, the gnats were out in droves at the time.

Yes, I'm referring to the Adblock Plus add-on for Firefox. If you strengthen it with the Element Hiding Helper for Adblock Plus, you can pretty much kill popunders, distracting animations , and my current nemesis - those annoying HTML5 "popovers" (not-really-a-popup popups) that either follow you along the page while you scroll or worse, block the entire page until you click on them.

Which day? As of today, September 2, it's a tie for keeping or getting rid of it. If only a few people vote, is the result binding? Just like a real bug, is there one person who has "squashing (or not) rights"?

About the vote. More than enough have voted for this to be legit. After the 30 days or 1 month *I forget what I stated in the op, barring any other decision by the forum administrators, I will honor what I wrote and the decision will be granted then based on the tally.

Right now it's 36% for, 36% against. Either way, some people won't be happy.

Lols! And it seems things just turned a bit to the negative by 1 vote. Still lot's of time folks. I just hope some don't take this so serioius to go opening bogus accounts just to sway the vote....

Promises, promises, DeltaDave.

A couple of years ago, someone in Chat had a problem w/a flashing red gif and politely asked the "owner" to remove it, explaining why they asked. As I remember that started a rather heated controversy for and against.

The bright colors and movement don't bother me and some of these gifs I REALLY like! One of my favorites was a Basset hound driving a convertible w/the top down and his ears flapping in the breeze. And, of course, I really liked my blue Slinky slithering down the stairs that someone so kindly found for me. Someone POLITELY PM'd me and asked that I remove it because it did bother them and I made the PERSONAL decision to remove it rather than cause them stress. But that was my PERSONAL decision. Frankly, I love Lazer's bug. But I am NOT voting to keep or eliminate it. Its not my decision to make.

And a woeful day that was! That was so you!

OK, I'll tone it down:

Bug or no bug... I can take it or leave it. Don't see what the big deal is.

It is beyond me why people on this thread continue to make it worse for those who have that vision difficulty.

I remember when Slinky came on and told us about the person in chat with the problem and then she changed her slinky so that it was not animated. I admire Slinky for that.

I do not have that vision problem but I fail to see the fun in making it difficult for anyone to come to the forum.

My hope is that they no longer follow this thread at least but can still get help for their sleep apnea.

I'm sorry but it does bother me. it looks like I will have to continue to be bothered.

I know this forum well enough to know that I put myself out there for attacks and ridicule by reminding people of this but I don't care.
