It's entirely possible that I've been working for the last hour using epoxy glue and fancy rhinestones to make a show stopper... Maybe. Possibly. You'll have to wait for my next picture to find out.... *drum roll*

Do we have a winner in the mask department? I have been wondering how last night went.

Is this a mask alteration or a sex toy... I'm confused

My AHI was 5.0 even last night, so higher. My leak rate was higher as well. My anxiety and amount of sleep time was better however. I think the nasal pillow might be a tad too small. I'll tweak it more tonight when I'm not so tired at bedtime.

I think most things are a sex toy to me eventually. LOL Sorry if I make the older crowd crabby. I'm the sensual bombshell type though. I collect Elvgren pinups and the whole nine yards. No shame in that. I've always been one of those that thought prudes were WEIRD. I mean, we all got here somehow and it wasn't via the stork. >:)

Back to finishing the last part of my new and improved Swift FX!! (Thanks again to FarmGirl!!) Oh, and FarmGirl, GREAT PICTURES!!! Totally awesome chick!

@Zney - That tape must leave one hell of a red mark on your face if you've ever had to take off immediately
In my experience (6+ months taping):

Sneezing with the tape on AND the pillows in with air on is definitely not a good thing.

But you can just pop the nasal pillows off and sneeze - that works fine.

Hey, not all of us are older! lol. (not yet - we'll get there eventually)

I started with the medium sized pillows which I thought "fit" well. Turns out, the next size up doesn't go as far "in" the nares, and therefore seals better. A good test is to turn your head a bit in bed, move it around, see what actually will stick there and seal up.

If you can't move your head around and smoosh it in the pillow a bit, then it may not be the right mask. There's no way to make a mask which doesn't fit really well comfortable and sealed, in the end.

Someone needs to make a "women of CPAP" calendar. Supermodels sleeping with CPAP masks and sexy lingerie.

You could also have a Chippendale's version.

Maybe a hard core version wearing nothing but the mask.
Am I missing something?? The mask is upside down!
It's upside down?! No wonder I have so many leaks !

I'm entering the saddest mask face comp.

Here I am in my first sleep study before attempting to got to sleep.
I slept 1hr 45min.

Here I am the first time I put a mask on

And here I am after crying coz the technician wouldn't listen to my complaints about the moisture in the mask.

Was not a fun night.

Not sure how to make images a better size.
Sorry.

Wow. That is a LOT of moisture in the mask. I can see why you would be upset.

Ok, so I wasn't complaining for nothing? That makes me feel better. I was actually in tears before this photo. I slept for >3hrs so the results were valid but I was so unhappy that night.

That's crazy moisture in your mask! How can that be ignored, it's like breathing in a swimming pool... yikes.

That middle photo looked like I felt when they put on the mask for the first time at the sleep study. That "Oh helllllllll no!" look..
