When I had problems with my comfort lite after my change from cpap to apap, I was told that comfort lite was not recommended for use with apap!
Is the comfort lite 2 any better in combination with apap ?

If necessary, adjust the upper straps. Do not overtighten the upper straps. This causes the back strap to rise up on the head and become less stable. If you experience issues with stability or ear irritation, move the top straps between the middle and top connection points to find the best fit.

Using the link Ozij provided, this is what they recommend as far as not overtightening the straps to keep the headgear from riding up, as many seem to be complaining about. I know from experience with the Swift, sometimes it's just a matter of a simple adjustment in the placement or tension of straps that can make a world of difference on how the headgear works for you.

Same here. Ended up pulling it off and switching to the Breeze. The movement of the headgear is annoying and I discovered I don't like having all that heavy material on my forehead. The CL2 is not for me.

will someone please tell me if the pillow ends are like the ones on the Breeze or like the Swift, the latter type I find more comfortable, My Breeze leaks so easily with med. pillows but the large size dig into my nose one one side and it gets very sore..
The comfort 2 looks a bit of a hair squasher, but maybe not so bad re RG's comment.
I have trouble when straps get too close to my ears, so that worries me.
I think one of the other companies offers the 3 types, pillows, simple cushion and direct seal for $105.
I am interested in any comments about the direct seal type. thanks.

The pillows look more like the Swift since I have both. The straps can be changed to the top and middle loops instead of the bottom and middle. However I did not fine a issue with the straps touching my ears it would have been a problem if it did. I put the chin strap on first since the tension of the mask straps works more evenly without the chin strap laying on top of it. The direct seal may be a little bit more leaky that the pillow but I was able to use both.

I found the pillows vary quite a lot in size depending on which mask they were made for. For the Swift, I need large pillows, but the large pillows for the ComfortLite2 were way too big. Make sure you test them out for each mask rather than assuming a large is a large is a large. (Works rather like women's clothing - you've got to try on each one.)

OK, I know this is an old post and I read both of them (Original and Morpheus' link) I did not want to start a new post. Might as well keep all the post together.



How do you like it now after a couple of months?

Is this non compatible with a Auto CPAP or a CPAP or either one with C FLEX?

How do you find it for sleeping sideways or slightly on your stomach?

I tried it on and liked it. At least it did not irritate my nostrals like the swift. But the headgear part was by my ear, I think that it would fall off/rise off my head if I put it behind my ear. Maybe my head is to small.

Forgot to include, which do you like/dislike: DIrect, pillow or cushion.

I need to figure out if I tried the direct or pillow. I also would like to try the cushion.

I'm a newbie....but I'll try to help.

I can see nothing else that will work as well for me as a CL-2. It's the 3rd mask system I've tried....and for me nothing else is close.

I've tried all the different type connections available with the CL-2 and the pillows work the best for me.

I have adjusted the contact angle of the pillows by bending the metal "T" support to fit me better. I'm a mechanic....with fabrication and engineering tendencies....so, I'm not afraid to tweak and tune.

I use lanolin (for breastfeeding moms) as a lube and sealant...works great!.

The head straps and padding is as good as I could ask for ..... and I have no trouble sleeping on either side or on my back. Air leaks are minimal.

Adjustments are pretty straightforward.....they could be a little better....but I suspect we'll have to wait for a "CL-3".

Can some please tell me if the Dream Seal work well? I currently have the simple cushion and the nasal pillows, but was considering ordering the Dream Seal. I wanted to get some reviews before spending the money. Thanks!
