Just looked at the link. The neck strap alone would prevent me from using it. I have to be careful of mask headgear too that compress that area. I'd be in tears with pain.

That's my fear too. I actually started this thread back in June, never did buy one. I've taken to taping and have learned how to do it so it doesn't irritate my skin (though I know there are safety concerns with taping). I also fear a full face mask for the same reason, straps pressing on my cervical spine....noooooo! I just received my double mouth guard from Century Martial Arts and will try that next as an alternative to taping.

What kind of fabric are they using these days? At one time they had a durable fabric that was great (unfortunately the one I had was a tiny size), but then they switched this thing that basically looked like a rag with strings hanging off it within a couple of washings.
