It seems to be recording temp on the next file written after the hour passes. That's good enough for my needs I think. The low temp below? I stuck it in the freezer and accidentally forgot about it

Now if we can only get a field upgrade to sample temperature every minute.... I was kind of hoping to see what happened during an apnea, hypopnea, or PB event.

For the less technically inclined, there is the iPhone/Touch SnoreMonitor app: http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/snoremon ... 05461?mt=8

It costs $2, monitors your sleep position, and records any snoring during the night.
My 1/4" thick Touch is placed in a shirt pocket during the night. I haven't used it at night yet, but simple testing by turning the Touch over on my desk shows that it works well.

You could check your sleep position for events that you see in your CPAP data software.

I suppose we could resort to other temperature sources. This will give me a general sleeping temperature, as at times in my current location it gets warm in the room during the night. Right now I just have a subjective measure of how hot I felt, this will give me a quantified measure. Being strapped to my head (LOL), the accelerometer will be somewhere between my body temp and the room temp. During the night last night it was 86 to 90 F.

I put up a first blog post about the X16-1C accelerometer (with a model like that it sounds like it could fly supersonic speeds, eh?)

Later I'll talk (blog) about the data, what it looks like, what I use it for.

I'd like to publicly thank BasementDwellingGeek for pointing out this accelerometer as it has shown clearly that my apnea is substantially positional and I've come up with a method that works for me to keep me off my back while I sleep and my AHI's have gone down by 2/3rds to about 1.0 and my Zeo Sleep Scores (ZQ) have become very consistent at 72 +/- 1 for the last four nights now that I've gotten my position under control. While this device may not be as helpful for others whose apnea cause may be different, it has really helped me.

THANK YOU BASEMENT-DWELLING-GEEK.

It's a good day when one can help another. Thanks for the thanks. Maybe others down the line can benefit as well.
