Greetings!

Well, I'm a new forum member, but an experienced (??) (if one can say that) CPAP user. I just had my old M series Remstar replaced, with a System One Remstar Pro Cflex Plus...heated hose ... humidifier...dancing girls (okay, that wasn't included ..must be those lucid dreams ... )

I've installed Sleepyhead so that I can actually see what the machine is doing. How does Sleepyhead compare with EncoreBasic? Is there a link or address to find EncoreBasic (there, I just joined the "me too" crowd .. . happily too, now that I can actually see what the heck is going on...!)?

Fluke

Last 2 posters please check your PM box.

For those wondering about what kind of reports you get with Encore.. This link is for the ASV machine but the overall basics are the same.

Last month received my new cpap machine and spent weeks looking for a program that is compatible to download the information. Then luckily found cpaptalk with this discussion. I would be greatly appreciative for any info on how to get the software needed.

Hello folks (and Pugsy)...

I family member has the PR s1 550, and sleepyhead works great on it... but then another family member recently got a 560 model, and we discovered the obvious...that sleepyhead doesn't work on it.

Could you please let me know how I could go about finding the software I need to read the 560 machine data?

Thank you in advance!

Winston.

Hi Winston,
Welcome to the forum. Check your private message box please.
Do let me know if the link is broken. They clean house and rearranged files about once a month and it is real close to that once a month house cleaning. It worked just now though.
If link is broken I have Plan B available until I can get a new link.

Hi, I'm new to the forum and have tried a couple times to PM Pugsy but I don't think I was successful.

I've had a CPAP for years and years but it's so old it doesn't have a data card. I'm about to get a new Respironics 560 Auto. I don't even have it yet, but was looking for sw to read the card. Saw this post and it looks like it's illusive, but Pugsy said many times "I'll PM you..." If there's an outlet for that EncoreBasic or whatever, I'm interested.

My dad has a ResMed unit and I've successfully found and installed sw to read his card. Just want to be able to do it with mine!

Thanks for any advice.

David

Finally got the PM and responded. You should be good to go when you get your new machine.

First time poster on this forum though I have read several useful threads. It's been great.

I have a slightly older PR System One CFlex (250P) and have tried to read the data with Sleepyhead v0.9.2. It's not reading any data from the SD card though I can see the all the recent files. Is there a setting on the unit or in the software that I've missed?

Your 250 model machine doesn't collect any data beyond hours of use.
So sorry to tell you that. You have a machine that doesn't gather any useful data.
Might want to read this..make sure you read all the way down the page.

http://maskarrayed.wordpress.com/

Nothing you can do to make the machine offer anything beyond how many hours you used the machine last night or last week.

In the Respironics PR S1 series of machines you need at least model 450 to get the full data that SleepyHead shows us. Models in the 200s or 100s...hours of use or compliance data only

Would you be so kind to provide me some sort of Encore viewer so i can download this to the Sleepyhead to gauge my sleep data Thanks in Advance!

With the 50 series machine you can actually use SleepyHead software and I have all those links in my signature line...lower left of this post.
Check your private message box for information on Encore software.

Hi all, new to the board. I have used the Puritan Goodknight with Silver lining software (easily found and purchased on the net. ) and decided to purchase a new machine. I purchased the Respironics system one series 60 auto cpap (DS560). I am looking for software and from reading the board, understand that I need either Encore Basic or Encore Pro 2.8. I have searched for a source to buy but have not found where I can purchase either. can anyone help to direct me where to acquire. Thanks in advance.
