I've had severe dry eye syndrome since before I was diagnosed with OSA. I use Restasis twice a day, GenTeal Gel at night and what ever preservative-free lubricating drops I can lay my hands on at any particular time during the day. I use a cloth sleep mask at night, but I cut the nose off. Works for me. Thinking about getting swim goggles to try.

I've used this for over 10+ years -- even prior to cpap as my eyelids don't completely shut at night.
For dry eye syndrome, besides Restais, try System
Balance during the daytime. According to our eye doctor, better than GenTeal,or other OTC products.

If you have cronic dry eye, go to the eye dr, could be a multitude of different things, the visit will cost you about the same as all the drops from the pharmacy and the Dr. will likely give you samples. After my trip to the Dr. I was using refresh night ointment(goo for your eyes) and rewetting dry eye drops during the day. Next the Dr. gave me "Muro" drops for really dry eyes for every 4 hours. Now all I use is "Muro 128 ointment" in one eye nightly and now I have no problems at all during the day. Drs can be helpful, if your in NJ I can suggest a really good one.

Your tearducts valves might not be functioning. Usually the valves prevent retrograde flow from the nose to the eyes. So the XPAP pressure pushes air into the eyes. See this fellow demonstrating it:
