Roger has a full face mask in his profile. The ability to use "Smart Start" is turned off when a full face mask is selected in the setup options.
I use a FFM occasionally and it works fine with smart start. i just leave mine on and use the smart start feature unless I don't want any giant spkes in my leaks when I take it off to go to the bathroom at night. I know it doesn't affect the numbers - just don't like the way the big spiky line looks in the graph! So I use the button then...
