Update - I did have my cardioversion on April 18 (Wed). At 10 pm on Friday the 20th I went back into A. Fib. All those questions that I asked (ablation/Maze, etc.) will be addressed soon I hope. Looks as if my shocking days are over. I've had 4 and by the way, one of my questions was how many times can your heart be shocked and I was told as often as is necessary with a healthy heart but the usefulness dwindles when you pop right back in A. Fib. Talk about being disappointed - I was!

Oh wow, I can imagine! Hang in there! My sister and brother have both had ablation and it worked great. They've both been fibrillation free for several years so I hope a solution for you is right around the corner for you too.

Sorry to hear that your conversion didn't stick.
You may want to explore magnesium and try a "chemical conversion..."
