I've tried cutting my own out of t-shirts, and I've tried REMZzz. I like them both, but if I take my mask off in the middle of the night with REMZzz, they curl and are difficult to re-apply. I'm going to try Pad-A-Cheek next.
I like the liners, because if they don't actually improve the seal, they quiet down the leak so the mask doesn't fart on my face. Leak numbers are OK, so I believe they actually do improve the seal. Like a gasket. I have some IV prep wipes that leave a tacky residue, I was thinking about "gluing" the mask to my face with those.

The original billed cost was $140 of which I just had to paid the billed $36 for one package of Remzzzs. Highway robbery. They recommend 1 per night, at that price I've used mine for over a week. And they are nothing more than t-shirt material cut to shape. But, I have to admit they do increase the comfort level.

I used them for a week and, while I did feel like it cut down on leaking and kept a more snug feeling, I'm just not sold on using them every time I sleep. As was mentioned before, if you have to mess with your mask at all during sleep, you also have to readjust the liner. Also, I feel like it would make me really hot in the summer as even now in the cooler winter months I woke up to a slightly sweaty face. I might give them a go again and see how I get on, but I definitely can NOT recommend the forehead "liner" that comes with it. I have had continuous issues with my forehead using my FFM (indentions, not breakdown thankfully) and the liner actually made things worse to where I did get a little sore due to part of it bunching up during the night.

The forehead adjustment of the Quattro should be kept relatively loose. If you are getting indentations...it is too tight.

Thanks, LSAT, for the follow-up. Indeed, after I made my post I was looking through other threads and found a link to Quattro tips. I am at work right now but looking forward to going home to bed and trying those fitting tips

I use and love REMzzz mask liners. I use one liner for easily five days. They stretch a little after the first night, which I actually like. I did try the Padacheek liner, but it didn't work as well for me as far as stopping leaks. And yes, I have to carefully put the REMzzz on my mask every time I put it on, so it's not as easy to use as the Padacheek. Since I can use a REMzzz liner for many days, the cost isn't as high as first appears. The bottom line for me is that they make my FFM much more comfortable and not leak. And that is awesome!

But my point of this post is to say that the two mask liners are somewhat different. I think you should try both of them and see which one works better for you. In an above post in this thread, Becky from REMzzz offered to send you some free samples. Take her up on her offer. And get a Padacheek liner. Try them both. Hey, anything that can improve a FFM is a good thing!

My husband has a nasal mask (the Wisp), and he's tried both REMzzz liners and a Pad a Cheek (they do have one for the Wisp). He found the REMzzz ones really irritating because the part of the liner below the bottom of the mask just hung right down over his mouth. So every night he had to cut them in half to make them at all usable. The Pad a Cheek fits around the inside of the mask and then secures around the outside, so that's not an issue. He did have to trim the inside to be a bit bigger, but it was a much more minor adjustment and he doesn't have to do it every night.

I use the REMzzz mask liners. I use one per week, so they a long time. I use it with my Quattro FX full face mask. It works well for me.

I tried the pad a cheek mask liner. It slightly reduced leakage. Seems to make my face alot hotter.

I just ordered REMzzz. Hope they work better.

There's a gal here on CPAPtalk named Becky that sometimes talks about Remzzz pure cotton liners (she works for them). I think she can get you a free sample of six liners. Anyway, for all the newbies out there this is the website:

I like them and use them every night... they are quite comfortable and effective because they are made from baby jersey cotton. I gently wash them in dish soap and reuse them so the cost is very nice. I never had much luck with cut up Tshirts since they stretch too much over the course of the night.The fabric Remzzz are made from is thinner than Tshirt fabric, BTW.
