I am 6' and weigh 215 lbs.
Thats 98KGs and 180cm for metric users.
We converted to metric here in Australia when I was a young man so I still remember feet and inches, miles and lbs.

5'4"/111 after gaining 5-6# from 5 months on CPAP. Severe OSA creates a hyper-metabolic state. Now I know why for years, I could eat anything I wanted and weigh so little. Initially, I attributed the low weight to competitive running. Does anyone else have a similar experience?

I believe that severe OSA created a hypo-metabolic state in me, if anything. Clearly it messed up my ghrelin and leptin.

The positive and certain thing is that if you have obstructive apnea and overweight, reducing your weight may get better your OSA.

I need to lose about 25 pounds, but the first 68 didn't change my OSA, and the proof of all the skinny folks here bares witness to the fact that OSA is not just a FAT person's condition.

I had a doc say the same thing to me because at the time I was under 40 and overweight but not obese.
Currently 5'6", 170 pounds--working on it, slowly but slowly.

You may not be overweight, but your throat might be

6' @ 285 lbs . Down at 240 lbs I looked more like a NFL football player, at 285 lbs I look like, well, a overweight NFL football fan . PAP therapy is giving me more afternoon energy to get back into working out in the home gym. Hopefully by this time next year I will be back down where I look and feel the best
